All:
This morning, Wednesday, June 08, both ibis were again in Coast Casey
Forebay, not far from the pumphouse were this rainwater is pumped westward into Adobe
Creek. In Adobe creek itself, just downstream of the bleachers, two
Pied-billed Grebes were on a floating-type nest that contained at least two large,
white eggs.
I had good views of the Pelagic Cormorant perched nicely on the aerator
structure near the west end of Shoreline Lake. By the time that I walked around
the lake, the PECO had flown down to the eastern aerator, and then began
actively diving.
