This afternoon about 3:00 both WHITE-FACED IBISes were in Adobe Creek
where the gulls usually rest. I had checked Shoreline Lake just before
this and the PELAGIC CORMORANT was not there. However, by 5:00 the
cormorant was on the float in front of the building and then it flew
close to the island and swam there. Other than 8 SURF SCOTERS at the
Forebay end of the lake, it was the only bird on the lake. Strange to
see it so deserted.
At about 4:00 there was a ratty first-year GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL at the
Duck Pond at the Baylands along with the 2 BONAPARTE'S GULLs.
