[SBB] my titmouse is back...




A couple of years ago, I had am oak titmouse pair who used the feeder, nested nearby, and raised at least one young. I didn't see them last year. About three weeks ago, I saw a young bird at the feeder. Since then, I've also seen two feeding as a pair. So it looks like they're back, or hid well.


They're also quite timid, so it's been a challenge getting a shot of them. But I finally got one:

we also had a probably northern flicker sitting on top of a telephone pole tonight, but the light was bad and the feral cats had an argument that caused it to fly away before we got a good look at it. We see flickers here rarely, but it's not unheard of.
