Hi Birders-
Almost as interesting as the numbers of Red Phalaropes are the locations. After seeing the 13 at Crittenden Marsh, I went over to Shoreline Park at the end of San Antonio Rd. Not much there, but while walking back to the car I saw a Red Phalarope fly into the pond behind the restroom. I have never seen anything of great interest in that pond before. It swan around for a while then flew to a nearby hidden pond or puddle.
