...Peggy Don, John Hutz or me today west of the Coyote Creek Golf Course (9
AM to 12:40 PM). It was however, somewhat more birdy
than on either Monday or Tuesday with some interesting observations.
First was an ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD feeding a smaller fledged Hummingbird (I
assume it's young), next was a perched HERMIT THRUSH repeatedly doing a
single note whistle (I assume it's normal flight call which was Varied
Thrush like except not as haunting) and finally an OAK TITMOUSE chasing and
begging from another OATI.
