Title: Sharp-tailed Sandpiper still at Alviso at 8:15 today
The Sharp-tailed Sandpiper was not seen from 10AM to 12:30.
The a few small flocks of peeps flew in from different directions.
Then the Sharp-tailed SP appeared on the far side of the water east of the railroad tracks.
It stayed near the waters edge.
It did not stay very long maybe 10 minutes and disappeared when the peeps went airborne.
There has also been a Dunlin assocating with the peeps and STSP for viewing size comparsions.

I finally made it over to look for this bird this morning. It was relatively easy to find but somewhat distant and backlit on the far side of the water east of the railroad tracks. Never flew over to the nearer mud islets in the 15-20 minutes I was there. Also a few Western Sandpipers and one Dunlin with 200+ Least Sandpipers.
There were roughly 20 Red-breasted Mergansers in A12, and a couple of Say's Phoebes in the general vicinity of the marina. Cheers,
Richard
