This afternoon around 4:30 PM I was walking through the Intel parking lot in Santa Clara near 101 & Montegue Expressway. I heard crows and looked up to see a huge flock of crows flying in a long, rather narrow (25 - 30 crows across) formation. The trail of crows continued so I started counting. There must have been around 400 plus crows. I believe they were flying in a north west direction.
I suspect they were heading to their night roost? It was quite a sight. I know where Alfred Hitchcock got his inspiration.
