[SBB] Common Loon, Black Skimmers (Shoreline)

Folks:

This morning, 4/20/2005, I cycled along the Mountain View (former) salt 
ponds and saw the COMMON LOON preening on Shoreline Lake.  A few minutes 
later I found Frank Vanslager searching for the loon from west of the 
boathouse, but it was probably blocked by the island.  Others have found it 
there into early afternoon.  In the late afternoon, cycling by again, I 
could not find the loon in the short time I stayed by the lake, nor could 
Va Landschoot.

In the morning I counted 20 BLACK SKIMMERS on the island in the SE corner 
of A1, while in the evening the count was 24.
