Hello SBB's,
I am in the midst of teaching a raptor class thru the Santa Clara
Valley Audubon Society. I was approached by a biologist wanting to
learn more about any raptors currently nesting in the McClellan
Ranch area.
If any of you birders out there are aware of raptor breeding
activity in this area, I would sure appreciate your observations.
Lastnight during the class break (8:00 PM) we watched a Barn Owl
hunting in the field next to the McClellan Ranch parking lot. Weeks
ago we heard Western Screech Owls calling along the creek, but
lastnight we heard none.
Thanks for your help,
Lisa
