[SBB] Almaden American Bittern re-found

This morning (Thurs, Sept 27) at around 10:00 am I re-found the AMERICAN BITTERN previously reported by Janna Pauser on 9/24.  I saw the bittern at the Water District pond as it flew from the east side of the pond to the west side where it stood briefly out in the open with head and neck out-stretched and beak pointed upwards.  And then as bitterns are wont to do, it furtively slunk away out of sight into the density of the reeds.
