[SBB] Parasitic Jaeger on Salt Pond A9

Hi All,

I decided to leave the scope behind and took my
bicycle and binoculars to Alviso
Marina County Park. I did the circuit of salt ponds
A12, A11, A10, A9, A14 and
A13.

I didn't see the Brown Booby today, but I did have a
Pelagic Cormorant in A11
and one on the closed levee between A10/A11.

At the far corner of A9 I saw a smallish jaeger
chasing a Forster's Tern. It
appeared to be a juvenile Parasitic Jaeger. It didn't
have the dark cap, but
was uniformily a warm, dark brownish color. It chased
various Forster's Terns
without much success of getting them give up any food.
 It landed on the water
of A9 and floated for about a minute. A fishing boat
was going out of Alivso in
Guadalupe Slough and stirred up lots of birds that
flew over to A9, which caused
the jaeger to take flight and I lost it in the mix.

This was a little after 10am. I called the Northern
CA Birdbox to report it,
but reported it as on A10 instead of A9. I also
mentioned it to Jack Cole at
the EEC as being on A10. It wasn't until I got home
that I figured out that it was on A9.
