This morning 9/26/2007 I saw a MACGILLIVRAY'S
WARBLER at Sunnyvale Baylands Park. I first saw it in a tree on the grassy
mound surrounding the large circular paved area of the "Baylands Grove".
It disappeared for a while and I found it again a little further away
in another tree on the mound. At that point it flew out and I think
it headed towards the eucalyptus trees just west of the children's
play area. I searched there and at the famous double row of
cottonwoods, but could not refind it.
Also, the PALM WARBLER continues to be seen in
the park. This morning it was foraging on the ground near the picnic area
east of the cottonwoods.
Take care.
