The Western PALM WARBLER continued this morning at Sunnyvale Baylands in the eucalyptus to the NE of the playground. I followed the bird from 0750 to 0800 and left it pretty much right where I found it. Otherwise both the Baylands and the WWTP were rather slow. Plenty of Yellow, Orange-crowned and Yellow-rumped Warblers, one MacGillivray's, a couple Western Wood-pewees, a Pac-Slope and a Trail's Flycatcher, a handful of Lincoln's Sparrows, and a few of the other usual migrants/winter arrivals were about, but nothing in stellar abundance.
Sweet birding,
Brent Campos
