[SBB] Alviso Brown Booby continues (and Vesper Sparrow)

All,

Matthew Dodder and I rode our bikes out from the Alviso Marina and
after about an hour of unfruitful searching on the A11/A10 levee
(second one from the marina) and the surrounding area, we rode back
to the A11/12 levee (first one from the marina) and immediately found
the BROWN BOOBY lounging at about 11:30 AM. (Be prepared for sticky
mud on the second mile of the trail. I'm probably going to spend the
next hour gleaning my bike and boots.) The booby was mixed in the the
other birds and fairly close (50 yards?) from the "don't walk on the
levee" sign at the trail.

We also met Roy Churchwell accompanied by a woman friend that I
cannot now recall the name of (so sorry) who mentioned he has a
VESPER SPARROW on his way out. We were able to refind this bird
foraging along the trail's edge as we rode towards the marina after
leaving the A11/12 levee.

We also had one PELAGIC CORMORANT; a CASPIAN TERN; EARRED, WESTERN,
and CLARK'S GREBES; VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS; SORA (head only); COMMON
MOORHEN (heard only); but no Common Terns.

Good birding, Eric
