[SBB] New Chicago Marsh, Sunnyvale Baylands and the Sunnyvale Water treatment Facility

All,

This morning at Sunnyvale Baylands Park Pat Kenny, Roland Kenner, Frank Vanslager and I had a couple Selasphorous Hummingbirds, a immature/female BULLOCKS ORIOLE, an adult WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE and a couple WESTERN TANAGERS.  The best birds at the Water Treatment Facility were numerous low flying VAUX'S SWIFTS (actually circling us at eye level 20 -30 feet away on several different occasions).  While at New Chicago Marsh Pete LaTourrette pointed out a juvenile STILT SANDPIPER (with some new basic mantle feathers) that was in the first pond to the right of the RR tracks.

Take care,
Bob Reiling
