[SBB] Palo Alto CBC - Dec. 17

Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a few people who would like to count birds rather than go 
to work on Monday, December 17. The Palo Alto Christmas Bird Count will be 
held that day. I coordinate Region 6, which ranges from the Stanford 
foothills and Arastradero Preserve to parts of Mountain View near El Monte 
Road. We need four teams of three or four people each. If you have not 
participated in a CBC before, or would like to find out what it's all 
about, this is your chance! No experience required. There is a $5 fee, 
which the National Audubon Society uses for publishing nationwide results.

We generally start at 8:00 a.m. and quit no later than 3:00 p.m., depending 
on how much ground needs to be covered. Like the Postal Service, we count 
no matter what the weather brings.
