All,
This morning Dave Weber, Frank Vanslager and I saw two to three (two
closely interacting) SAGE SPARROWS on the hill northwest of the lower saddle on
Loma Prieta Rd (about a half mile west of it's eastern intersection with Summit
Road. Later Peter La Torrette, Dean Manley, Frank and I had a singing
BLACK-CHINNED SPARROW on both sides of the road leading to the "antenna farm."
(200-300 Yds east of the upper saddle parking area with the newly erected crash
barriers). I think Pete got some pictures. Later Dean, Frank
and I had two BCSP singing at the same time in the same
area. Frank and I then went to the bottom of Wrights Station Road
where we had a calling SWAINSON'S THRUSH, some PACIFIC SLOPE FLYCATCHERS,
WARBLING VIREOS and little else of worth noting..
Take care,
