[SBB] Yellow-headed Blackbirds at EEC

Hi All,

This morning I decided to go looking Dave's goodies in Alviso.  I didn't see any Cattle Egrets at Arzino or Yellow-headed Blackbirds, so I went over to the EEC at Don Edwards.  Two Yellow Warblers were singing from the cottonwood trees along the channel at the east end of the parking lot.  A nice "black-headed" Bonaparte's Gull was on the first island.  A little further out on pond A16 were 6 breeding plumage Eared Grebes.  Ducks on A16 included Mallard, Cinnamon Teal, Northern Pintail, Ruddy Ducks, and Gadwall.  A school class field trip was heading out on the boardwalk from the EEC and they flushed some blackbirds from the pickleweed. The blackbirds flew to the footbridge that crosses to the A16 south level.  All 9-10 were Yellow-headed Blackbirds.  For the next half hour or so they would fly from perching on the bridge handrail to the pickleweed and back.
