This morning at 8:00 and again at 8:30, I saw a white morph Ross's Goose with a flock of about 20 Canada Geese on the hillside at Byxbee Park in Palo Alto. This is possibly the same individual that I reported on March 9 & 10 off the Adobe Creek Trail as a Snow Goose, and that Joe Morlin saw at Byxbee Park later that week and identified as a Ross's Goose or possibly a hybrid. Today I got a much closer look at this bird and could see the size of the small bill with respect to the head. It definitely looked much more like a Ross's Goose than a Snow Goose. I hope that others will see this goose, and confirm its ID with photos.
