All,
This morning there was no sign of a male Phainopepla in the
southern portion of Ed Levin County Park. Later I helped a couple
photographers locate the male YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER (in the usual tree)
and then during a short drive above Calaveras Reservoir Linda Kincaid of the
Vantana Wildlife Society pointed out a nesting BALD EAGLE on one of the power
towers.
