Do Selasphorus hummingbirds have a different "buzz" when flying than an Anna's hummingbird? I was out in our front yard doing some cleanup gardening before work yesterday morning, and a hummingbird flew past me. I had no chance to get a look at it, but the noise it made flying past seemed much more metallic to me than the sound I'm used to getting from an Anna's. Just wondering if I might have had a Rufous or Allen's flying around me.
