[SBB] Alum Rock Park

Friday morning, 3/2/2007, Roland Kenner and I walked along the north rim of
Alum Rock Park in San Jose. Birds of note were a white-striped
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW in a flock of GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS just past the
gate near the eucalyptus trees at the top of the Todd Quick Trail and a male
ALLEN'S HUMMINGBIRD along the North Rim Trail. Birding along the Boccardo
Trail up the hillside was pretty slow, although we did see a couple of SAY'S
PHOEBES at the end of the trail along with a beautiful vista of the area.

Take care.
Pat Kenny
