[SBB] Clements Explained

My post about Clements was totally unclear.

"The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World", Volume 6, is finally published.
Clements died before completing the revision, but the American
Birding Association and the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology stepped
in and completed it. Volume 5 came out in 2000.

The book lists all the species and subspecies, their scientific
names, and where they are found.

The book is also of interest to people who only bird "locally", e.g.,
there are 39 subspecies of Song Sparrows in the USA and Mexico.
