[SBB] forster's chicks photos

There are a couple of okay photos of the tern chicks. On the shoreline lake island:

I was playing with the new lens and the teleconverters, so the first two shots are using the 300/F4 + 2X + 
1.4x (840mm total) at F8, and I was using a monopod, not a tripod, so they're a bit soft. the one at the salt pond island was "just" the 300/F4 + 1.4x, and you can tell the difference. 

but heck, it's baby birds. they're supposed to be in soft focus... (grin)

(for what it's worth, if you're going to go out and look at the chicks, carry a good scope. I swear I didn't see a thing with binoculars; i had to locate them on the images with magnification. you'll want some imaging firepower, or better eyes than I have. or both)
