All,
At high tide today Peggy Don, Bill Don, Dean Manley, Frank Vanslager and I
had good views of the SWAMP SPARROW found yesterday (1/30) by Pat Kenny and
Roland Kenner on the eastern edge of Alviso Slough about 1/2 mile from the
Marina Parking lot. The bird was seen several times usually after
being first flushed from the dry grasses near the dike (50 to 100 feet on either
side of the of the 2 x 4 x 1.5 foot piece of dirty yellow plastic) to the
base of the reeds near the piece of plastic.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
