Hi Birders-
Today around noon, from the seventh floor of the Embassy Suites hotel on Calaveras Blvd, I was able to see two Golden Eagles soaring over downtown Milpitas. Later in the afternoon after heavy rain I stopped at Ed Levin Park. I heard two Great Horned Owls calling to each other from eucalyptus east of the parking lot for the Spring Valley group picnic area. I was able to locate one of them in a tree across the road from the parking lot. In the wet meadow beyond the corral there were two Wilson's Snipe out in the open. Missed the YBSS this time.
