[SBB] Fox Sparrow

I have seen two distinctly different Fox Sparrows in
the yard.   One is the regular Sooty variety which is
a regular winter visitor here; the other has the
'flashing' white throat of the Thick Billed California
variety as shown in Sibley.  It feeds on the lower
platform with the WC and GC Sparrows.  I can't say
that I've seen it up close enough to notice the bill
color, but am searching carefully each morning, which
is when they are most likely to appear.
