Yesterday, 23 Jan 07, I drove up Metcalf Road, hoping to find a Roadrunner. Barring that, I saw a soaring FERRUGINOUS HAWK over the hills at the east end of the motorcycle park. Two RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROWS sat cooperatively on fence posts along Bailey Road, where it turns north on the east side of hwy 101. An OSPREY was perched at the point of land in Parkway Lakes.
