[SBB] Blue-gray Gnatcatcher at Renzel Wetlands

I stopped by the road to the ITT antenna farm by the Renzel
Wetlands in Palo Alto to get photos of the BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER.
At 10 a.m., the bird was exactly where reported in previous posts.
It took all of two minutes for him to emerge from the coyote brush.
He offered very close views until I left 15 minutes later.

Repeating earlier directions: The entrance road to the ITT facility
at the north end of the Renzel Wetlands restoration area. It is
along East Bayshore Rd. (the frontage road on the east side of
Hwy 101), just south of Embarcadero Rd. The entrance road,
which looks more like a paved bike trail, is at the point where
the office buildings stop and the wetlands begin.

The large clump of coyote bush is on north side of the road
about halfway out the ITT area. The bird seems to move around
from the coyote brush to some of the low bushes about 15 yards
in either direction.

Note to photographers: This area has great southern exposure.
It will be well lit from 8 a.m. til mid-afternoon. The bird
comes close enough that you can shoot it, hand-held, with anything
more than a 200mm lens.
