[SBB] Cackling Geese

   I checked a few Mountain View and Palo Alto spots for geese around
midday today.  I found no geese at all at either the Shoreline overflow
parking lot or at the Geng Road/Palo Alto Golf Course area.  The pond at
the latter spot did have a Green Heron and a lone female Hooded Merganser.
I finally found a flock of 180 Canada Geese at Byxbee Park, and with
them were the six Cackling Geese.  (But none of the other rare geese.)
