All,
This morning Frank Vanslager and I first stopped at Ogier Ponds
where Frank spotted a well hidden but standing in the open AMERICAN
BITTERN in the southeast corner of the third pond north of the Model
Airplane site. HOODED MERGANSERS, several (at least four adult
males) in two adjacent ponds, were the only other bird
of note. We then went to the Gilroy Water Treatment Facility where we had
a male EURASIAN WIGEON, two SNOW GEESE and three BLUE-WINGED TEAL (TWO
MALES). No sign of the two Mute Swans seen during our last
visit.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
