[SBB] Willow Flycatcher

This morning (Fri, Aug 24), Janna Pauser and I found a WILLOW FLYCATCHER along the Guadalupe River Trail north of Blossom Hill Rd.  We saw the bird foraging in a riparian sandbar willow just south of the Hwy 85 overpass.

 

Other early fall migrants seen along the stretch between Blossom Hill Rd and the Hwy 85 overpass were YELLOW WARBLER, HOODED ORIOLE, and Janna also saw a WESTERN TANAGER.
