All,
I birded Stevens Creek from Highway 101 to Crittenden Lane on the way
into work this morning 8/16/07. A few migrants are starting to move
through, with 1 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, 3 WILSON'S WARBLERS, and 6
COMMON YELLOWTHROATS (only 1 on 8/11/07) being seen. I also saw a lone
hatch-year HOODED ORIOLE, which may not be a local bird since I have not
seen any HOOR in the area for a while (we occasionally have late
breeders in this area, and they move to the creek with their young, but
I have not seen that this year.
