[SBB] Alviso A16 update, with pic

I was out at salt pond A16 in Alviso from 6 to sunset Wednesday evening,
concentrating on the algae mat at the end nearest the EEC, with hopes for a
good flight shot of the Black Tern. After 7, a large feeding group of
birds, including many Snowy Egrets and stilts, gathered on the mat -- also
seen in smaller numbers, dowitchers, peeps, avocets, Bonaparte's Gulls,
Forster's Terns, and one each of Great Egret, Greater Yellowlegs, juvenile
Green Heron, and a flyover by a BLACK SKIMMER headed south. I walked down
to islands one and two before 7, and saw both adult skimmers on each
island; didn't see any young. Have posted a picture of the pair on two, one
perhaps being on nest.

In two hours, I didn't see the Black Tern. Again it was a beautiful night,
less windy than Monday night, and two hours well spent.
