A beautiful male WESTERN TANAGER stopped by my yard in San Jose this afternoon at 3:00pm. It fed for a while in the bottle blush flowers and then came for a bath in the water fointain, which is were awas able to get some great close up shots of the bird.

A BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK also stopped at one of the feeders and also took a bath.
