| Correction: it appears that our "Whimbrel" is actually a Long-billed Curlew, given the length of the bill, its size relative to the Godwits, the color of its chest and the not-very-apparent striping on the head. And drat, it's still a bird we missed on our birdathon! Thanks to Mike Rogers and Joseph Morlan for their expert eye.
