This evening, Friday, April 27, the Brant was among a flock of Canada Geese on the lawn by the playground at Shoreline Lake. Also on the lawn a short distance away were a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk and a pair of Canada Geese with five goslings. My photos are here:
At the western end of the lake were an Eared Grebe in full breeding plumage and two Western Grebes.
