Pat Kenny and I looked for and failed to find the
Calliope Hummingbird Tuesday morning, 4/24/07, about 8-9:30 and again
around 11. We also noticed the aggressive male ANNA'S. As we left we
walked down the hill from the dog park to some locust trees that are in
bloom. Here there was more hummingbird activity, including a male RUFOUS
HUMMINGBIRD and several ANNA'S, but still no Calliope.

Subject: [SBB] Ed Levin Calliope's still
around?
I
tried yesterday 12:30-1:30 PM with no luck.
Have there been other
sightings?
There was a male
ANNAs at the south-east corner of the dog park
that was acting very territorial. Did not look
likely that he would tolerate any other hummers
