Hi Birders-
Checked out some previous reports. First stop was at Smith Creek fire station on Mt Hamilton Rd. On the trails behind the station there was not much activity accept for a Sharp-shinned Hawk. Coming down I ran into Ann Verdi and we headed for the creek. Not far beyond the metal gate we had a Hammond's Flycatcher right along the trail. Further along after the barbed wire gate, we had at least two Nashville Warblers, several Wilson's, and a Townsend's, and another Hammond's Flycatcher. Black-headed Grosbeaks and Brown Creepers were also around. Later, in Ed Levin Park, I hiked up to the sycamores above Sandy Wool Lake. No Blue Grosbeaks were evident, but there were at least four Lawrence's Goldfinch, my FOY Lazuli Bunting and a very noisy House Wren.
