Early this evening, 11 Apr 07, at about 6:00 pm I went for a walk along the Coyote Creek trail south of Metcalf Rd. As soon as I started down the trail a flock of 8 VAUX'S SWIFTS flew low overhead, below treetop level, heading quickly towards the north. A couple of LINCOLN'S SPARROWS were the only other interesting birds.
