Hi all:
A Chipping Sparrow was foraging in the oak next to the
outdoor restrooms at McClellan Ranch this a.m.
On my way into work I stopped at O'Connor in east Palo
Alto, and there were 8 Wilson's Snipe conitinuing at
the west end of the pond.
There were two lovely American Coots at the Geng Rd.
pond. Canada Geese but no Cackling Geese at Byxbee
Park, but it was a cursory survey. They could be well
around the south side of the landfill, where I did not
go.
A lone Burrowing Owl was perched on a cone-like
structure between the wind-chime sculpture and the
fence to the landfill.
Good birding,
Bob Power
