[SBB] owl on Shorebird Way???

Hi everyone,

Yesterday my family went to view the Great Egret nests

along Shorebird Way in Mountain View.  (Thanks for the

tip--it was a great treat, and we all were thrilled.  The

leaves are coming out, but we still got good views.)

 

My son noticed that an owl(s) has been roosting in

the trees across the street from the egret nests:

several spots along the street show whitewash

under favorite perches, and he found several owl pellets.

We scanned and scanned the trees, but were unsuccessful

in spotting the owl despite these excellent clues

to its likely daytime locations ;-) !!

 

Has anyone seen the owl that is leaving these signs?

Know what type it is?
