[SBB] Clark's Grebe at Shoreline Lake, plus more

This evening, April 7, the Clark's Grebe was at the western end of Shoreline Lake, along with two Eared Grebes, three Pied-billed Grebes, a few Double-crested Cormorants (one with white crests), Surf Scoters, and Willets. My photo of the Clark's Grebe is here:

On the island in Charleston Slough, there were 12 Black Skimmers, along with over 100 Marbled Godwits, over 100 American Avocets, and over 100 small sandpipers (either on the island, or between the island and the observation platform). They all flew up when a Northern Harrier swooped in, but they settled down shortly thereafter.

Earlier in the day, I checked on the Bald Eagle's nest along Calaveras Road. I parked by mile marker 0324, since that turnout is larger than the one at 0308, but from that angle a ladder blocks part of the view of the eagle.
