[SBB] Canyon Wren, Great-tailed Grackle, etc

Today, 7 Apr 07, I made the hike into Henry Coe Park along the Grizzly Gulch Trail to the rock cliff, where the CANYON WREN put on a great show - prolonged looks at it singing from 30 feet away.

On the way home I stopped at the Coyote Creek Golf Course and had the male GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE singing from various perches around the water hazards. Also here, were 4 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE in with the CANADAS. One of these birds had typical adult plumage, while the other 3 had only a start of black barring on the flanks, indicating first spring birds.
