This morning (Thurs, 4/5) I saw an adult male WESTERN TANAGER in bright
breeding plumage. I saw the bird along Hicks Rd near the confluence of
Guadalupe and Rincon Creeks. Although not a county year bird for 2007, it
was nice to see this colorful springtime migrant.
