Marcia Routolo asked me to post her observation of a Red Fox in her
yard on Mears Court off of Stanford Avenue. It was pretty much
staying in her yard and the yard next door. It was there last
evening, but she did not see it this morning. Marcia's yard is next
to the school yard, which is not all that far from the Dish.
Have people seen Red Foxes on Dish hikes?
I know that there has been a campaign to rid the Baylands of Red
Foxes, since they are not native, and they kill the Clapper Rails.
Red Foxes are not going to be good for the Mears Court flock of
Quails, and other birds.
What should one do if there is a Red Fox in their yard? Who to call?
