It was a perfect day for a hike in Quicksilver County Park with a cool
breeze and NO bugs!! I walked in from the McAbee entrance and up Mine
Hill Trail. In the big meadow I found an immature White-crowned
Sparrow in the Coyote brush. I was then distracted by a barking
Coyote up the hill. There was another bird with the WCSP which I assume
was another sparrow. Other good birds were 1 Cal. Thrasher, 10 Wrentits,
5 Huttons Vireos, 4 singing Purple Finch, and 4 Band-tailed Pigeons.
