[SBB] Signing off

Hello all SBB'ers;

This is likely my final post to this fine list. We've uprooted
ourselves and have moved to Washington. While it's been fun keeping
up with the going's on in the south-bay, I've got new territories to
explore and new birds to learn. I just got done scoping my first
Pileated Woodpecker. From about 7 yards away, only one word can
describe that bird:  Magnificent!

I'm going to miss my country park patrols--especially Ed Levin, as
well as my Bluebird boxes. But I leave them in good hands. An
enthusiastic young fellow, Mike Azevedo, has taken them over and
seems to be doing a fine job. I know he reads this list, so you
might want to tell him, "Hi!"

But most of all I'm going to miss this great list and the many fine
folks that have helped me learn and explore the south-bay birds
arena. I'm hopeful that I can find a similar list in the Puget
Sound area, but so far no joy.

In any event, good-bye to you all. It's been a fun ride--thanks!
