[SBB] migrant passerines

On Friday, 1 Sep 06, I stopped at CCFS in Alviso to look for migrants. I found a WILSON'S WARBLER, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, 4 YELLOW WARBLERS, 9 PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHERS, 3 WILLOW FLYCATCHERS, 3 HOODED ORIOLES, 6 WESTERN TANAGERS, 2 BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS, and 3 HOUSE WRENS.

As I walked the overflow channel towards the eucalyptus tree I approached a juvenile TURKEY VULTURE that allowed me to get about 10 yards from it. I suddenly discovered why when a couple more vultures burst from the scrub next to it, leaving behind a Gray Fox carcass.
