Oops I sent it prematurely again.
SBBers,
This morning, 08 Oct 2006, a RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was on the large sycamore tree with many old sapwells in the Bay Tree Picnic Area in Stevens Creek CP.
Yesterday there were 4 BURROWING OWLs on the mound off of the bike path across from the Shoreline Golf Course. In Adobe Creek there was a male BLUE-WINGED TEAL with perhaps 2 females. I could not identify the females positively because their heads were tucked. On the uncovering mudflats at the north end of Charleston Slough among the shorebirds there were basic plumaged DUNLIN and a WHIMBREL.
Oct 2, 2006, there were 3 COMMON MERGANSERS at Oka Ponds.
Good Birding,
Peggy Don
